Located in the Annapurna region, Pisang Peak Climbing is a strenuous journey to the Summit of Pisang Peak (6091m), which hosts amazing views of the Annapurna Himalayan Region. Pisang Peak Climbing although non-technical requires prior climbing experience due to its strenuous nature. If you are a mentally and physically strong person who believes that the fear of the unknown can be conquered, then Pisang Peak Climbing is for you.
Just like a typical Annapurna Circuit Trek, the trekking trail of Pisang Peak Climbing starts from the traditional village of Jagat after a drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. The trek then moves on through various villages to reach Upper Pisang, a beautiful village situated below Pisang Peak (6091m). From Pisang village, you trek to Pisang Peak Base Camp and then climb Pisang High Camp to finally head for the summit. Through rocky ridges covered in ice and snow, it is vital that you maintain your pace and carefulness while ascending to the top. At the summit of Pisang Peak (6091m), you will find yourself surrounded by mesmerizing mountain peaks, including the whole Annapurna range. Afterward, you descend back to Pisang and trek through small villages dotted with ancient monasteries to reach the small town of Manang, which eventually takes you to the tranquil Tilicho Lake. The trek also features traversing across the frozen pass of Thorung La (5416m) that takes you to the holy temple of Muktinath. You then trek down to Jomsom, from where you take a scenic flight to Pokhara followed by a drive to Kathmandu, marking the end of your journey.
