This Annapurna Base Camp Trek leads you deep into the heart of the Annapurna Conservation Area where towering and grand peaks like Annapurna I (8,091 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Gangapurna (7,455 m), and the sacred Machhapuchhre (6,993 m) form a natural amphitheater around the base camp.

The Meaning of “Annapurna”
The word Annapurna comes from the Sanskrit words: “Anna” = food / grain and “Purna” = full / complete.
According to Hindu belief, Annapurna is the goddess who provides food and sustenance to all living beings. Local communities consider the Annapurna region as her sanctuary — a holy place that must be respected. This spiritual connection makes the trek not just a physical journey but also a cultural and spiritual one.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m)
Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (830 m) from Kathmandu by tourist-bus. (Private Transportation will be on your demand)
Day 3: Drive from Pokhara Hote to Ulleri (2,050 m) – Trek starts from Ulleri to Banthanti (2,250 m)
Day 4: Banthanti to Ghorepani (2,875 m)
Day 5: Hike to see Sunrise and 360 degree views of massive mountains at Poon Hill (3,210 m) – Trek to Tadapani (2,630 m)
Day 6: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,170 m) / Lower Sinuwa (2,340 m)
Day 7: Chhomrong Village or, Lower Sinuwa Village to Dovan (2,500 m)
Day 8: Dovan to Deurali (3,200 m)
Day 9: Deurali to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m) and Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m)
Day 11: Dovan to Jhinu Danda (1,780 m) – Natural Hot Springs.
Day 12: Jhinu Danda to Tolka Village (1,700 m) via Landruk village.
Day 13: Tolka to Phedi (1,130 m) via Australian Camp (2,060 m) – Drive to Pokhara (827 m)
