Everest Base Camp Chola Pass Trekking is a challenging and fascinating Trek in Khumbu Region. The trek features the best of what the Khumbu region has to offer, from the tranquil lakes of Gokyo to the high pass of Cho La (5420m) to the breathtaking panorama of Everest (8848 m) from its very base.

The Everest Base Camp Chola Pass Trek commences with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The trail ascends along the bank of Dudh Koshi River and enters Sagarmatha National Park to head towards the Everest Base Camp. On the way, you pass many lush forests, ancient monasteries, and Sherpa hamlets to reach the pristine Gokyo Lakes. Following the longest glacier of Nepal, Ngozumpa Glacier, you pass three Gokyo Lakes to finally reach the quaint village of Gokyo. You then climb Gokyo Ri (5360m), from where an amazing panorama of Cho Oyu (8188m), Chamar (7287m), Everest (8848 m), and so on along with the panorama of Gokyo Lakes as well as Ngozumpa Glacier can be seen in a stunning fashion. The trail then turns a bit challenging as you make your way through the glacier and on slippery moraines to reach the high pass of Cho La (5420m), which connects Gokyo valley with the trail to Everest Base Camp. Through amazing settlements and with the mesmerizing view of the mountains, you reach the base of the highest mountain in the world. Before reaching Everest Base Camp, a breathtaking sunset view along the Everest (8848m) is witnessed from the top of Kala Patthar (5550m), hence making this trek the most fulfilling one.
