Everest Basecamp Trekking starts with your arrival in the capital city of Nepal—Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, you take a 22-minute flight to Lukla and then start trekking. You hike to Namche Bazaar, which is also known as “the gateway of Everest ’’, and take a day for acclimatization. Trekking further, you pass through the rhododendron and birch forests observing varieties of flora and fauna of the Khumbu region. Through the ancient Tengboche Monastery and many Sherpa villages, you reach Gorakshep, from where you hike to Kala Pattar, which is a famous viewpoint and provides fantastic mountain views of peaks like Mt Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414 m), Nuptse (786 1m), and many others along with a stunning sunset. On the next day, you pass over the rocky dunes and moraines to reach the Classic Everest Base Camp. Standing at the base of the Highest Mountain in the World, you will have a grand mountain vista spread in front of your eyes that makes the hard climb worth it. Along with the fabulous views of the mountains, this trek also provides an insight into the history of mountaineering and the heroics of the Sherpa people. Although it is a trek with moderate difficulty, you still need to be physically fit as you will be walking 5-8 hours a day. The best season for this trek is from March to May and from September to mid-December.

Day : 1
Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m) Tribhuvan International airport, and transfer to hotel on B/B plan.
The trip begins with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu. Our company representative will welcome you at the airport, and then you will be transferred to the hotel for your overnight stay.
Day : 2
Breakfast at your hotel and drive to Domestic airport of Kathmandu to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2660m), 4 hrs.
After breakfast, you head to the airport and fly to Lukla. Flying over the high mountains and enjoying the views of the vivid landscapes, you reach Lukla and then start trekking. The trail descends and gradually passes the large village of Chauri Kharka. After Kusum Drargka, the trail crosses Dudh Koshi River and takes you to Phakding. Overnight at lodge.
Day : 3
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m), 5 hrs.
The trail takes you to the Dudh Koshi River and then heads through the beautiful pine forest to reach Monjo. After checking your permits at the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park, you descend to Dudh Koshi River. Then you cross the Hilary suspension bridge and make a tough climb to reach Namche, from where you can get the first glimpse of Mt. Everest (8848m). Overnight at lodge. Day04: Acclimatize day, hike around Khumjung and Kunde village- visit Everest view hotel, Khunde community hospital, Yeti skull monastery, and Hilary family memorial park, o/n in Namche You take this day for acclimatization which will help you avoid altitude sickness. Resting today doesn’t mean that you stay completely idle. You hike to Khumjung and Khunde villages to make the best use of your day. You will visit the Everest View Hotel, Khunde Community Hospital, and get a taste of the Sherpa lifestyle and culture. Then you head back to your lodge in Namche for the overnight stay.
Day : 4
Acclimatize day at Namche and hile around Khumjung, Khunde village, O/N in Namche bazaar.
Hike around Khumjung (3790m) and Khunde village (3860m)- visit Everest view hotel, Khunde community hospital, Yeti skull monastery, and Hilary family memorial park, o/n in Namche Today we will stay in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization to the thinning air. To acclimatize better, we will do a short hike to Khumjung and Khunde villages. On our way, we will visit the Everest View Hotel, which is a famous viewpoint for observing the Everest panorama. We will then hike to Khumjung, which is a large settlement of Sherpa community. Here, we visit the Khumjung Monastery and have a look of the Yeti skull that is displayed in the monastery premise. We will further ascend to Khunde village and visit the Khunde Community Hospital there. Later we will descend back to Namche in the evening. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Day : 5
Trek to Tengboche (3800m), 5hrs.
The trail is straight until reaching Kyangjuma and then drops down to meet Dudh Koshi River. After crossing a suspension bridge, you hike up the long hill to reach Tengboche. There, you visit the ancient Tengboche Monastery, which is the biggest and most sacred monastery in the Khumbu region. Overnight at lodge.
Day : 6
Trek to Dingboche (4660m), 5/6 hrs.
You continue trekking through the rhododendron and birch forests until reaching the suspension bridge near Pangboche. After crossing the bridge, you climb the steep trail until reaching Pangboche village. The trail then continues through the pasturelands and follows the upstream trail of Imja Khola before arriving in Dingboche. Overnight at lodge.
Day : 7
Trek to Lobuche (4900m), 5 hrs.
Trekking from here on becomes more challenging due to the increasing altitude. After a steep walk to the top of a high hill, you pass Dughla. Here are many memorial stupas dedicated to the climbers and trekkers who lost their lives to Everest. The next part of the trek brings you over the craggy mountain terrain to the small settlement of Lobuche. From here, you can see amazing views of Mt. Lobuche East (6145m) and Mt. Nuptse (7861m). Overnight at lodge.
Day : 8
Trek to Gorakshep (5100m), 4 hrs and hike to Kala Pattar (5545m), 3 hrs, O/N in Gorakshep.
You continue the trek ascending on the left bank of Khumbu Glacier and make a steep climb to reach Changri Glacier. Then you descend to Gorakshep and take some rest. After lunch at Gorakshep, you hike to Kala Patthar viewpoint. From Kala Patthar (5550m), you can enjoy a magnificent sunset view along with the panoramic views of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Nuptse (7861m), and many other mountain peaks. After spending some time here, you trek back to Gorakshep for the overnight stay.
Day : 9
Excursion to Everest Base Camp, (5364m), 5 hrs, trek back to Thukla or Pheriche (4240m), 3 hrs.
Today you head towards the Everest Base Camp. The trail passes through rocky dunes and moraines until you reach the base camp of the mighty Everest (8848m). From the base camp, you witness the majestic snowcapped mountains up close, including the giant face of Mount Everest (8848m). After spending some time at the base camp, you trek back to Pheriche via Gorakshep, Lobuche, and Dughla. Overnight at lodge.
Day : 10
Trek to Phorche village (3810m), 4 hrs.
You follow Imja Khola downstream and pass many Sherpa hamlets and monasteries as you leave Pheriche village for Phorche. The mountains keep you company throughout the trek. Shortly visiting Pangboche Monastery and Thakri Gompa, you reach Phorche village, situated just above the confluence of Dudh Koshi River and Imja Khola. Overnight at lodge.
Day : 11
Trek to Namche by crossing Mon La (3900m), 4-5 hrs.
You make a long descent to Dudh Koshi River and then cross it on a simple plank bridge. Then you start a steady climb up to Mong La, the birthplace of Lama Sange Dorje, and descend to join the main Everest trail which leads to Namche Bazaar through Mani walls and Sherpa hamlets. Overnight at lodge.
Day : 12
Trek to Phakding (2660m), 5 hrs.
This is the last day of trekking. You leave Namche Bazaar behind and trek downhill through the forest alongside Dudh Koshi River to exit Sagarmatha National Park. From Monjo, the trail descends along the valley which becomes more enclosed as you pass the village of Bengkar to reach Phakding. Overnight at lodge.
Day : 13
Trek to to Lukla (2840m), 3 hrs, Last day of enitre trekking.
It will be a short descent along the terraced farmlands of rice and barley to reach Lukla from Phakding. Passing a few villages with the backdrop of Kusum Khangkaru (6367m), we will reach the small village of Lukla. We will have a lot of free time in Lukla, so you can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the town. Overnight in Lukla.
Day : 14
Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla and transfer to hotel.
Today we take a scenic flight from Lukla Airport to Kathmandu. Enjoying the last sights of the high Himalayas, we arrive back in the bustling Kathmandu city. On reaching Kathmandu, we will transfer you to the hotel. You can rest for a while and then head out to stretch your legs. Overnight at the hotel.
Day : 15
Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu, O/N in hotel.
This will be your leisure day in Kathmandu, which you can utilize by doing a full day sightseeing around the valley in our private vehicle. We will visit the Swayambhunath temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, in the morning and enjoy the panorama of the Kathmandu valley from the hilltop. We will then visit the famous sacred temple of the Hindus, the Pashupatinath temple. We will also see the cremation of the Hindus being performed at the bank of Bagmati River in Pashupatinath. We will later visit the Boudhanath Stupa, the revered Buddhist pilgrimage site, before heading back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Final departure from Kathmandu.
We will drive you back to Tribhuvan International Airport for your scheduled flight to your onward destination.
