We start at Nayapul to commence walking from Deupur Village after getting drive from Pokhara. We pass through beautiful fields, small villages of local hindu people, we cross the steams and ups and down and we walk under the rhododendron forests. A special part of this trek is the Khopra Danda, Khayar Lake viewpoint, Mulde View Point. From here, you can see some of the tallest mountains like Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The walk to this viewpoint is calming, with the mountains making a beautiful background. But our ultimate destination is getting Annapurna Base Camp at the elevation of 4130 m from where your eyes dive on the full depth of Gigantic mountain Annapurna I (8191 m) ascent first time by French Expedition Team in 1956 let by Maurice Herzog.
From the Khopra Ridge, amazing views of big mountains like Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Annapurna South (7129 m) and Nilgiri (7061 m). As you walk, you’ll leave behind the trees and enter open meadows where yaks graze. It feels peaceful and far away from busy city life. During the trek, you’ll get to stay at the Khopra Community Lodge in during the Khopra Part or Mohare Danda Part. Remeber it- Mohare Danda (3313 m) also one the best view point of Annapurna region Trek. Not only it, This is a chance to meet the local Gurung people and learn about their way of life.
At the end of the Khopra Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you’ll get to Annapurna Base Camp. This is like a natural amphitheater surrounded by tall peaks, including the impressive Annapurna I. When the sun rises, the mountains turn golden and it’s a moment you’ll never forget.

Itinerary of Khopra Annapurna Base Camp
Day 01: Meet in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu – capital city of Nepal. Welcome !!! And, transferred to hotel. Short talk about whole trip, itinerary and preparing for the trek ahead.Day 02: Drive/Fly to Pokhara (Altitude: ~820m)
After breakfast, you’ll either take a flight or drive to Pokhara – a beautiful city on the bank of Fewa Lake that serves as a gateway to the Annapurna region.Day 03: Drive to Deupur, Walking to Purnagao (Altitude: ~1100m)
Drive from Pokhara to Deupur, where your trek begins. From Deupur, you’ll start walking towards Purnagao and the trail takes you through terraced fields and small villages – Purnagaon.Day 04: Sasar Dhara (Altitude: ~1700m)
Continue your trek to Sasar Dhara. The trail gains elevation gradually, and you’ll pass through lush forests, crossing streams and enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.Day 05: Nagi Village in Community Lodge (Altitude: ~2300m)
Today’s trek takes you to Nagi Village. You’ll stay in a community lodge, where you’ll have the chance to interact with locals and experience their way of life.Day 06: Mohare Danda in Community Lodge (Altitude: ~3300m)
Trek to Mohare Danda, a viewpoint renowned for its sunrise and sunset views. You’ll get stunning panoramas of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.Day 07: Swanta Village (Altitude: ~2200m)
Descend to Swanta Village, passing through rhododendron forests and enjoying glimpses of mountain scenery.Day 08: Khopra Danda (Altitude: ~3660m)
Reach Khopra Danda, your destination for the day. This viewpoint offers incredible views of Dhaulagiri and the surrounding peaks.Day 09: Excursion to Khayar Lake (Altitude: ~4660m)
Today is the day for excursion to Khayar Lake. Local people believe this is sacred alpine lake. The trail takes you about 4500 meter, and you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.Day 10: Dobato (Altitude: ~3420m)
Descend to Dobato, a picturesque spot surrounded by forests and mountains.Day 11: Chomrong (Altitude: ~2170m)
Continue your descent to Chomrong, a Gurung village with stunning mountain views.Day 12: Dovan (Altitude: ~2600m)
Trek to Dovan, passing through lush forests and enjoying the serene atmosphere of the trail.Day 13: Deurali (Altitude: ~3230m)
Ascend to Deurali, where you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayas.Day 14: Annapurna Base Camp (Altitude: ~4130m)
The highlight of the trek! Reach Annapurna Base Camp, where you’ll be surrounded by towering peaks, including Annapurna I.Day 15: Bamboo (Altitude: ~2310m)
Descend to Bamboo, retracing your steps back down the trail.Day 16: Jhinu Danda for Natural Hot Spring (Altitude: ~1780m)
Trek to Jhinu Danda and enjoy a relaxing dip in the natural hot springs, a perfect way to soothe tired muscles.Day 17: Landruk Village (Altitude: ~1640m)
Continue to Landruk Village, where you’ll experience local culture and hospitality.Day 18: Australian Camp-Kande, Drive to Pokhara Hotel (Altitude: ~2100m)
Trek to Australian Camp and then descend to Kande. From there, drive back to Pokhara and relax at your hotel.Day 19: Drive/Fly to Kathmandu Hotel
Travel back to Kathmandu either by driving or flying, enjoying the scenic journey.Day 20: Final Departure from Kathmandu
